PFC-VoW Book Awards 2021
Greetings from the Valley of Words and Team PFC–VOW Book Awards!
Thank you for your support and cooperation in making the Book Awards an integral part of VOW: a literature and arts festival with a distinct multigenre, multilingual and intergenerational approach. Our fourth edition went virtual in India’s first-of-its-kind phygital festival experience – a format we plan to continue working with so that all our sessions are online, offline, and archived forever.
Over the last four years, the Valedictory Session which features announcements of the PFC-VOW Book Awards and the Acceptance Speeches of Awardees has received the highest footfalls in the festival. Our 2021 Award-winners includedParo Anand, Lavanya Lakshminarayan, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Alka Saraogi, Rajeev Sharma, Menaka Raman, Padmaja Ghorpade and Ranjita Biswas.
Power Finance Corporation, one of India’s leading Navratna companies in the power sector, has been supporting the annual Awards in our quest to discover and showcase the best of Indian literature published every calendar year.
